Application Process:

 

The Application Period runs from March 1st at 8.00 AM CET - March 30th at 11.00 AM CET. Note, although, that application for ExCo, EO's and local Presidents are limited to March 1st at 8.00 AM CET - March 15th at 11.00 AM CET

To apply for a spot on the Congress, follow these steps:

1.    Download the Application form  HERE.  (To save the file on your computer, right click and select Save As)

2.    The Application form is a pdf-file, so you need to open it using Adobe Acrobat Reader. If you do not
        have the program, you can download it for free here: http://www.adobe.com/products/reader/

3.    Fill out the Application form, and save it using the instructions at the end of the form.
        It is very important that you follow the instructions on saving the file,
        otherwise we cannot process the application correctly.

4.    Return the application form to applications@ivsadenmark.dk Put "Application Form" in the Subject line.

VISA-Required countries:

 

1.   To see if you need to apply for a visa for Denmark, download this file: List of Visa-Required Countries
      If you have a passport issued from one of the countries on this list, you will need to apply for a visa.

2.   Note that citizens from countries highlighted in red on this list needs to hand in their application
      to an embassy with which the Danish government has a cooperation agreement.
      A comprehensive list including addresses on all the embassies Denmark has cooperation
      agreements withcan be downloaded HERE.

How to apply for a Danish visa:

 

1.   Write to applications@ivsadenmark.dk to receive a Letter of Invitation. Be sure to include your complete
      address if your country is highlighted in red in the file above,
      as we will have to send you the letter by snail-mail. Countries in black will receive their letter by e-mail.
      Also, be sure to do this as early as possible, to allow ample time for processing of your
      visa application at the embassy.

 

2.   Read the General conditions for granting a visa, available here:

3.   Then read the guidelines for Private visits and tourist visits to find out which subgroup you belong to.

4.   Read the " How to apply ", available here:

5.   On the page with the " How to apply " information you will find the application form for a Schengen visa.
      Or you can download a copy HERE.

 

6.   Once you have compiled your application, you need to hand it in at a Danish embassy.
       You can find a list of the Danish embassies here:

       Remember, if your country was highlighted in red you need to hand in your application
       to a cooperative embassy.

Contact us when you have your visa in hand, or if you encounter any problems. Be sure to inform us of your visa number once you are granted a visa.
